Happy New Year!
I purchased my first Jaeger LeCoultre (Master Geographic 1508420) last year and I couldn't be happier with the function/performance, aesthetics and comfort. I am thinking about a sportier model this year and have my eye on the Master Compressor Chronograph. May I please have any feedback (positive or negative) from owners? I am interested in your thoughts on the functionality and performance of the watch. Unfortunately, I find the EWC too large for my wrist.
Best wishes for a healthy and prosperous New Year to all.
I have had my JLC Master Copressor Chronograph for a little over a year now and still love the watch and also its smaller size as compared to the EWC. I did have some early problems with the chrono function but a quick trip to JLC Service in New York took care of this under JLC warranty and returned the watch in less than a months time. I would reccomend this Master Copressor model and JLC in general, the service was quick and even included a complete polishing to make it look like a new watch. Just my own thoughts for you to consider.
Good luck choosing,
Mark
Your welcome,
I think there were a small few early Master Compressor Chronographs that had some teething problems, but it was not that common and as I mentioned JLC worked hard to take care of it. Since I got the watch back everything has been working well and as expected.
It seems like a few early issues are common amung just about every well known brand out there and it comes down to how the manufacturer deals with the problem that really makes the difference. Knowing this, I would still choose to buy the Master Compressor Chronograph again, it is a great watch and a great value compared to a lot of other chronographs out there. I hope this helps with your choice.
Good luck,
Mark
Wear it in good health !
As far as the MC Chrono ,very good choice ! In fact any of the MC would be a good choice.
I have both the MC Memovox and MC geo and love them both !
