A JLC is always a good choice....

Hi Cowgirl,
A JLC is always a good choice, you just have to find the one that better fits your taste and use.
The Reverso Classique is the closer current Reverso to the vintage pieces, in terms of size.
The choice is limited in this case size. You can get a simple version, quartz or mechanical version, in steel, steel and yellow gold or yellow gold, on strap, steel or gold bracelet.
There's also a Duetto with a second time zone in the back.
Some other versions have been produced in the last years, in pink gold for instance (my favourite choice), or with a kind of permanent flyback chrono hand on the back (Reverso Memory).
The Classic model is for me the thin Reverso. It is a small size for today's trends, but large enough so that a man could wear it as a thin dress watch. Ladies sometimes even prefer larger watches than men, so you need to put it on your wrist to see if the size suits you.
My advice would be to take the time to try several sizes and choose yours. Then you'll have to choose your model.
Many vintage Reverso models are quite appealing too, but as production was halted for a long time, you see mainly old vintage models. Such watches could be used everyday, but with special care.
Maintenance is generally always possible with JLC, but price of maintenance on such fine and old watches can be high. Availability of parts and quality of service is what makes MJLC the best place to service old Reverso models.
Such handwind models need some care everyday and a service from time to time. New models are tested 1000 hours so should stand an active life, but they are not sport watches either.
If you say us more about what you plan to do with your watch we may be able to be more precise on advices.
Welcome here.
