My suggestion is, no rubber please. This watch is closed to a vintage watch from the same brand and rubber is not period correctly. I am sorry
I think, a brown vinatge look leather strap looks really good.
A NATO is posibel for this watch. I dont know about the colour, i am also experiment with red, because i love red, but i have no final decision.
If you like to match with the red point no the dial, look my Revue Thommen.
Also the Submariner with the red canvas is posibel. This are very good straps and 3,5mm thick, perfect to wear.
A Military green canvas is now on the Revue.
A leather strap with visible stich always works on this Military watches too.
But it is up to your taste of colours also and the taste is cahnging during the life. Ten years ago i can not imagine a green strap for me, now i love them.

I have a leather strap for my SeaDweller which I love, but I think the JLC DSC is a bit more modern looking despite its retro roots (given its size and polished lugs), so can handle a more contemporary strap as well. I actually love the original calfskin too but I don’t have that. Thanks again
