I tried both several times and you summed-up right.
The RM010 is better on the wrist as it is smaller. However if you don't find the difference too obvious, it means maybe you have a strong wrist (or you're used to wearing big watches) and the RM030 would match too.
For me the decluchable rotor is a really interesting feature but I would have chosen the RM010 because much easier to wear as an everyday watch rather that the bigger RM030 (I have a 16cm wrist).
If it was a watch I was going to wear once a while only , I would then have chosen the RM030.
The RM030's skeleton look is similar in the design, even though it is easier to see through the movement as there is more room around the movement (bigger case, thus bigger room inside it).
