I have been fortunately invited to the RM Exhibition of 037 and 055, among other beautiful RM pieces here in Tokyo.  As always, RM picks very nice venue and atmosphere for the clientele to enjoy the pieces and perhaps to want one of them or two...

Now the watches:


1. 037 in RG




Quite heavy, thanks to its hefty case...




The push button at 5 changes "N (neutral)" to "W (winding)" to "H (Hand)" and the crown never have to be pulled out.  Of course, you know the mechanism well with other models, too.  But this one the push button is not ON the crown, but at 5.   Why?




I think it is to balance with the one at 11, which changes the date.




In-house automatic movement.




Really smart and smallish size (for RM) and I like it very much, if this were Ti version, which couldn't make it this time.








Can you see the black PVD (Ti, I assume) balance wheel?  Not something you see often.




I like the slim width shape of this one.








2. 055




Very compact and well made movement inside with lots of transparent area.  Could be in the smaller case?
























Wouldn't mind playing gold with this one

022








I prefer 022 to 021 for its four pillars and 8 bezel screws, and for some reason, 022 is slightly lighter than 021 despite the additional dual time function.








Well made honeycomb dial which very slightly curves in from the bezel side to the center....




021 on my wrist - Not bad at all, but my fav is 022 (ah, if my bank account were.... )

That's it. 
I really like 037, and would love to see the Ti version, which hopefully much lighter than RG version.  Also, 055 is another light sport watch with the more "reasonable" price tag.  Sure, I would prefer 038, but it is what it is

Always a pleasure to see RM watches, with very nice pics. too. I'm the opposite from you as I prefer the 021 to the 022. The watch is smaller and I prefer less screws on the dial. However, if I had a choice it would still be the old model 002. I'm not particularly fond of the 10 legged spider covering the tourbillon or the honeycomb dial, for that matter.

It must be a special evening atmosphere, I guess RM team did the job well.

I noticed that the RM055 has the big dimension case whereas the RM035 remains close to the RM010 size. But maybe that, as there is a Saphire case back on this one, the wider case leaves the mouvement "floating" in the middle: a very nice show...

Concerning the RM037, I don't know what to think really (I didn't see it in real yet) but the size of the case (and especially the longer upper and lower parts) looks a bit too elongated, with a less "sporty" style.

The RM033 is fantastic: the case along with the strap, the lugs inserted inthe case, the polished angles etc ... beautiful.

And the Aerodyne... always pleased to admire it (even if I prefer the RM021 :p )

... yes, I believe it is for shock absorbing "space" as you see two "pillars" on the upper/lower left side.

037 may have some feminine element, but it looks slick and smart.  Would love to see Ti version for my final assessment.

033 is, yes, wonderful round, thin watch.  But tad too big for my taste.  Nonetheless, beautiful piece.

Ah, you like 021, too?  But 022 is lighter!  Anyway, my true love is 002 Ti V2

what magnificent watches!!  the rose gold (correct?) case pictures are simply exquisite!!  thank you for sharing these watches with us!!  breathtaking!! 

like the RM055 and think it is an out and out winner. Funny how things change. When I first saw the RM038 I really wondered if a white watch would look good! Now I love it! And think the RM055 to be a better looking watch than the RM035! Strange!
