Got my copy of 'Top Gear' ( U.K ) magazine yesterday and was very surprised to see a Richard Mille Advertisement for the RM28 Watch. Great advert, full page, made the watch look really good.
Also very surprised to see that it actually stated the price in the advert too, better not print it here in case I get in trouble, not sure on the rules for that...first ad I have ever seen for RM & like I said really surprised it stated the prce too.
Also has a small bit about the RM004 on the expensive gadgets page....mentions the price again with a ( yes really! ) comment right after the number. Also states the Rm004 as being the watch that Feliipe Massa wore during the crash...can anyone actually confirm which watch he was wearing?...RM11 or RM004 or other...everyone seems to claim it was the watch he wore if they are selling something!
Check out the magazine...Ferrari 458 test, RM004 mention & pic & full page pic of RM28....magazines dont come much better!
due to a part from Ruben's car, then I dont know. However, in a previous test, Felipe was wearing a RM watch: RM006. The first watch with the carbon fibre base plate. See here:

I dont think Felipe would be wearing the RM004 in the crash. He might wear it for press conferences afterwards, but not while driving. Its too heavy. One of the remits behind the RM009 was to make a watch light enough that it would not be noticed on Massa's wrist when driving. Hence the 28 gram weight.
Thanks for not mentioning prices. While we cannot get away from the manufacturers price, the discussion of prices almost invariably 'heads south'!
Interesting and thanks for mentioning here. Will have to get to see the magazine.

been working on the photography skills to great effect. Love them! And thanks for sharing. The ones of the RM002, as their numbers being produced dwindle, show what a fab watch it is. You share the same watch as Giulio Papi who also owns an RM002 (his favourite RM!).
Cheers

The RM009 - one of my favorite pieces of the past decade. The incredible total lightness;
the skeletonizing;
the minimalist movement layout;
the microbille finish;
that great and timeless original RM case.
mmmmmm...
with you Thomas in LA.... However, there is a new kid on the block and all will be revealed so very soon!!
Thanks for posting such great shots.

seen and worn the piece. One of the funny things about out of the ordinary watches (or anything, think food, art, experiences)... just makes you smile!
Stay tuned
