I am enjoying mine.

Got my two tone monster last week and headed off to RM Boutique right after I have received the watch.  It changed the apprearance immediately. 

This is the most expensive rubber strap that I have bought but I think it was well spent!

It looks fantastic on the watch.  My one concern is that the buckle does not attach securely to the strap on the pin end.  I think this is a problem with the RM pin design in general, but even worse on the thick rubber strap.  You certainly don't want your RM falling on the floor.

maybe use a tang on the rubber would alleviate any worries.. i know with my tang i dont fret

I'll keep an eye on the pin securement before I whip out the plastic.  The rubber strap is gonna cost me a whopping $400 USD *gasp*.

the rubber looks so great though it is almost a must have.  if it were me, I would probably get a tang buckle as well.

for my 004. I have not put it on yet but when I place it in position it looks great.

for the price of watch and design of strap.. its not "that" bad.... AP is ~200

For the watches Richard Mille claims the high prices are due to his sparing no costs making quality watches.  Without intimate knowledge of the design and manufature of the movements, it is difficult second guessing the costs Richard Mille claims in designing and manufacturing movements.  But, with the ridiculous price charged for the rubber strap, RM loses credibility in claims for costs of manufacturing the movements.  Customers have a much better idea of the costs of design and manufacture of the rubber strap, and I'm sure everyone will agree it is much less than $400.  My personal guess is that it costs between $10 and $50 to make.  That is a wide range, but with a price of $400, there is considerable profit.  Because there is so much profit there, one has to wonder how much profit there is in his watches.  If a Ti RM010 has a current retail price of $54,000, maybe it's cost of design and manufacture is only 1/8 that (450/$400=1/8), so maybe it only costs $7000 for design and manufacture.  If RM is interested in continuing to overcharge for his movements, he would be better served not making it so obvious he is doing so by overcharging for items, such as rubber straps, where we can clearly see there is overcharge.

    I went to Alain Silberstain AD in Singapore last month and want buy  a new rubber strap for my Krono Bauhaus.When the sales person told me it will cost me S$1,000(US$680)..i thought he was joking!!!!

cause there aren't any short RM11 rubber straps in stock right now, so the AD has to order one which probably will take a long time IMO.

Also, there currently is no tang buckle version RM11 rubber strap.  Only the deployant version is available for the time being (you cannot use the deployant version for tang buckle due to the deployant pin holes in the strap).
