Price Increase and no more 002's in 08'
Much discussion re the impending price increase.
Obviously, with the weakness of the dollar, a price increase was no surprise. I overheard a discussion wherein a request was made that the dealers take some of the hit from profit.
The increase, as strongly "suggested" by a local AD, will be 10% across the board.
Also; no more 002-V2 made in 2008. If you want the general production watch that started it all... I'd suggest that you get it while you can. R&P can only deliver so many tourbs' to RM (I am advised about 75 a year for all RM pieces), and with the launch of the Perini, there are only so many pieces to go around and there is a need to push the new product (which, now that I've worn one, is a stunner; a bit too dressy for my personal taste, but beautiful).
I'd also look for a replacement for the 002-V2 in mid - late 09', making the 002 V2 a collector's item.
Is this for certain..? Who knows, I've been wrong before, but...
