RM016 .. more than a decade later..
RM maybe pushing their marketing focus once again into their decade old RM016.. Especially when both the latest and also one of their most famous brand ambassadors are spotted with RM016.
Looking at the photos.. It’s unbelievable that the RM016 has been around for more than a decade! To me they are still so chic n advance! This design has truly stand the test of time. A great design from day one!
Sadly no many ppl share my thoughts on this masterpiece.
It’s one of my all time favourite!

Timeless classics
I think all RM tend to pass the test of time, any piece I can think off would look contemporary if you saw them for the first time now.
When I was in the London boutique recently I was told there was going to be a push on the square and round pieces as the wait list on most Tourneau-shaped pieces is now at three years. Maybe this is being shown by the recent new advertising and ambassadors seen wearing the RM16?
It would be great to see some side by side comparisons of the RM16 and some of the other pieces, it’s so rare to see this.

Yes the 16 are exceptionally rare in the wild..
Ppl usually thought RM016 is the “entry level” RM which is not true. Despite it is not usually the favourite RM but it is actually quite expensive. Same metal (Ti) the 16 and the 33 carries a higher MSRP than the everyone’s favourite tonneau shaped RM30 if I remember correctly.
