If RM unveils a McLaren watch, from passed partnership with F1 actors, it may lead to something on the RM011? Not very original but still appropriate though 
By the way, the skeletonized dial and the movement work (decoration, finishing in terms not only of style but also in terms of frictions) are among the best I could see and study.

I'm liking the new RM011-03 design
However, I feel this color combination design is a tad too busy for me. Too many distracting colors for my eye to absorb. I hope they do a more clean color scheme design in future reiterations.

I'm with you on this one Anthony...
I think this is the new RM 50-02 Airbus version - and I feel there's just too much going on (not that I would ever be able to afford one anyway so it's a bit moot).
The finishing, from what I saw in the pics is as usual superlative but the colour combo just looks a bit messy... just an opinion. Thanks for posting the video... didn't see that!

New version orientation
The RM011 had the same case as other references at the beginning but they decided to take this specific chronograph to make it different and indeed more spectacular. I think it is made that way, while keeping the original design for other references. Hence, different watches for different tastes, clients.
My feeling is that it won't be applied to the rest of the collection. It will only apply to a very few models. We'll see what they bring in the future but I think that they will offfer both designs for more choices.

It is indeed an interesting differenciation among the collection
As for the colors, I imagine it goes with the more spectacular new design and that we will have many other combination in the future. Maybe there will be one for you :p

Honestly and that's my view of course the RM11 doesn't fit the AM characteristics at all
This is I think an offer for clients who wish something more spectacular
It is good to have this offer, even if I'm also more on the original design side. However, though I found it a bit heavy when I discovered it, I finally came to find it appealing.

I really hope the new case design is not a sign of whats to come from RM.
I am not a fan of the "notches/ribs" on the edge of the cases. Looks off putting and is another thing to hit your watch on. Would still buy the OG RM 11
I don't think so
As I wrote above I think they will provide both. How I see it, they took out the RM011 which is the bigger case and that a part of the clients like because of its size and more spectacular look, and they took it as a base for this evolution. However, I feel the rest of the collection (at least most of) will remain on the original design with maybe slight evolutions.
About the "notches" we saw on the RM027-01 for the fist time, it wasn't something I liked at all at the begininning. Now I must say I like them.

They are two very nice watches to get imho, very RM.
Sizes are 49.94 x 44.50 x 16.15 mm for the RM011-03 and 49.94 x 42 x 14.05 mm for the RM035-1 NTPT.
