If I remember the Black dial world time is rarer than the white/silver version. Looks Awesome.

My favorite watch to wear at the moment
Hi Salman,
This gray dial version is my favorite watch to wear right now. I've been doing some traveling and it's perfect for being on the road. Multiple time zones, runs strong with approximately 2 day power reserve (remarkable!), not so costly where you're always thinking about safety, small enough (a slim 37mm) to fit under a cuff, and very fashionable. Love it.
Finding a mint, all original gray dial, Olympic tribute 6217 from 1964 has become quite difficult. But it's worth the hunt.
Yes, the white dial model is slightly less rare (but still pretty difficult to find all original & mint). I have both, but it took me over a year to find the perfect examples (and I live in Japan!).
Really, great looking watches. As the 2020 Olympics comes around, prices on these are going to go through the roof - find em while you can!

Traversing China on their HSR
Hi, Matt,
Ironically I was doing something similar Sunday in Beijing - the HSR Chinese High Speed Rail is speed limited to 310 KPH even though it is reputed to be able to reach closer to 400 KPH vmax similar speeds to the MagLev in Shanghai connecting the airport with Pudong.
Complimentary food service was horrible but the seat was comparable to airline first class seats.
Even the station has that major international airport vibe...
Acceleration and deceleration was extremely smooth.
Other than the obnoxiously loud passengers it was overall a very pleasant journey that was, door to door, comparable to flying.

Japan's shinkansen and China's HSR look identical. Not by chance I suppose 
The experience is similar too -- food is not great, but the ride is smooth and convenient. I find train trips much more conducive to daydreaming and less so for getting work done.
