Horological Meandering

Guys, When I first became active here I had 3 watches, my GP, AP and IWC. Now I have 8. All 8 acquired since 2008. I must say I have now started switching from sporty watches to classic watches. My latest two acquisitions in July were testiment to that. I must say it is time to pause the buying and enjoy. Don't know how long the pause will last but will try to be disciplined.

I must add a thank you to all of you for the amazing info and advice you gave and post on this site. I am loving it. People are so friendly and non-judgemental. I will try to meet you one day at one of the gatherings. If any of you are in Sydney, please feel free to call and let's do coffee.

I agree. Contentment is a state of mind. Will strive to get there until the next phase.

That's a nice variety in your collection.  Gotta to tell you that the Zenith Class Elite is my favorite, everything is perfect on that one.

Good call to take a little break from the watch purchasing and just take some time off to enjoy your wonderful collection. It won't be long before the itch returns though.

It is correct to 'rest awhile' in the collection journey.

But when you get that itch again, look at some elegant watches. That you have already alluded to a change in taste since you have so many sporty chronographs.

Obviously, the Bulgari P10 X-Pro may be too sporty again, so look at variations of these three models: 

Grand Seiko is now available outside Japan.

 

 

 

 

Finally, although not a extra-flat or elegant watch, the funky PuristSPro ABR has a funky pulse/respiration counting tachymeter and 4-spoke seconds hand........I like how the carbon fibre dial matches my suit material.....hehehe.
