I live in Singapore but will be visiting Florence, Italy. I am considering to buy a good watch. Can some one help me advise on above question? Also, please recommend a good shop I should go to in Florence. Thanks.

if VAT > discount given by local AD, makes sense. also bear in mind if you pay via credit card, the bank  would cream you for forex at least 150 pips off spot market. how do you think all those parallel importers are selling cheaper then ADs. question is whether there is anything worth buying, or available for that matter.
