Sorry to all for posting this here, couldn't attach this image to a PM, but hopefully it might be interesting to some others.
Saw a Mido Powerwind diving watch in a horologist store earlier in the week, and I wanted to explain the dial.
It will also be of interest to anyone who is into Fortis Marinemasters, as their vintage models also show a similar image, and there maybe others.
Clearly this type of dial printed before any legal claims were made by anyone suffering decompression sickness after following these rules!!
I don't think we would find any manufacturer willing to state these type of 1 shallow decompression stop schedules on their watch faces today!!

Very scarey!! But, thats evolution for you.
But the dial made the watch very interesting, the colours stood out well (better than my poor re-prodution above).
cheers Tony
Like every diver knows, the non-decompression times are pretty much guesses. The science of diving related issues is not very developed yet and your post just clearly shows that the rules of diving are changing and developing.
Best, Kari
It was a pleasure to see it together, my friend.
I think I just found another nice Diving watch to add to my collection, here.
Not that I got all the informations and the way to use them, but it may be easier once the watch between my hands.
Best, Tony.
Nicolas.
