Thanks for all your contributions, those in the past, and those yet to come! I look forward to learning much from you.
Cheers,
Daos
I look forward to seeing you around here more (and as the VC Forum Moderator I would be remiss if I didn't ask for another set of pictures of your vintage Geneva Seal watch on the VC Forum)
Bill
obviously I need to see your watch again as I have misremembered some details about it! It does have 18 jewelers, right?
Bill
Congratulations from me too, Magnus. It feels like you have always been a part of the Purist family, so this is icing on the cake. Always enjoyed your work and looking forward to your ongoing contribution.
Andrew
Welcome, Dr. Bosse.
Glad to have you with us.
Dear Dr Bosse,
In 2005 I acquired a Chronometre a Resonance from Montres Journe sincerely believing I would become the proud owner of a master piece.
What a disappointment! Three years later the winding crown fell off and after encountering many difficulties the dealer I bought it from had to bear the costs of the repair.
Now, the winding crown fell off again and all I am offered is to repair it for the second time and to be charged.
For a watch with such pretentions and a respectable price tag I find the attitude of Mr Journe quite strange.
You would agree with me that the least he could do is to offer me a new watch as it is obvious that this specimen is faulty to use a mild terminology. From a man known as being an artist proud of his creations and rightly so , his attitude is very disappointing.
I wonder if you could bring the matter to his personal attention.
Thanking you in advance, I remain
Sincerely yours,
C.Mayorkas
