Thanks for your feedback (and also for the comment above, which included a new type of email; please just don't include links). For now, cease all communications immediately with this criminal and block him across all your accounts, including WhatsApp.

I did receive a PM and e-mail message from RGS and discarded it as I couldn't reply from the PM.
When you find the scammer, Fab, send him my way. I've found . . .
