Horological Meandering

I missed out in the limited gold version so I have been waiting for a model which I like with a regular face as I don't like the black reverse face......then the titanium edition with DLC coating was released and available in the UK this week. A very fun piece which is light as a feather.....just what I wanted and I love it 😁👍

... Now I've gotta go buy one of these.  I have the all-metal stainless steel version, but have to admit that had I known Casio was going to release one like this I'd have waited for the DLC-coated titanium version. Like I said, "thanks Andy"

But it has a dark face.....it's a camo titanium version with laser etched DLC coating. I also very nearly got the all stainless version which is also very nice.
I love what Casio are doing with these renditions of the original.

I just picked this one up and confirm this titanium version is probably the best of the 35th re-editions. The weight of this is unbelievably light. Saphire glass and a superb titanium matte bracelet imo makes this the collector’s piece.

Like you say it is so light.....they wanted to recreate the original but with modern materials and I think they have knocked this one out of the park..!! Crazy expensive but when you think of the titanium, DLC coating and sapphire glass and the fact that nobody would think of it as anything other than a cheap resin watch it is spectacular. When it does sell out it will definately be a sought after piece for sure 👍
