Average is 36.95
I have three watches under 37mm and one that is 40mm. My wrist size is about 6.4 inches.
Regarding your wrist size (15.2 cm or 6.4 inches), the ratio with your average case size is close to 4 which could appear consistent

The average size of all my watches is 39.9 mm
I only own round or almost round watches. Minimum Diameter is 38mm, Maximum is 43-44mm. All Dress watches are 38-40mm, all Sports watches are 39-44mm.
18.5cm is my wrist size
I have to add, that my wrist is Not round, but more flat, so I can wear larger watches. Also, I'm almost 2m tall, so small watches below 38mm look silly on me.
We have almost the same wrist size and I’m 1.90m tall but I better understand if your wrist has more a flat shape than a round one

This is easy!
Easy because I have three watches in my current collection and two of them are either square or rectangular. My only round watch is the Patek 7200 London Edition which is 34.6mm. I hope to add the Patek skeleton (3878J) by August and that watch is 31mm. That would bring my average down to 32.8mm!!!

Will try to answer you within the next 24 hours
as I have only had 4 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. I am so jet lagged that Malaysians have been moaning about the heat here and I have just arrived from zero celsius London and thought the weather was quite pleasant here
There is a better chance
of me being able to afford a Patek minute repeater than to recover from my perpetual jet lag! But I am getting better as I now sleep at 4.30am instead of 8am!!

With a more systematic survey of a larger sample, it would be interesting to look at the relationship of mean watch size to age.

Kidding, of course, my dear friend. Without doing the spreadsheet (I do enough anyway), I would say some where around 40mm. This is just an eyeball, but I might have to do this exercise when the time allows, sounds interesting.

Prefer watches between 39-42 but have some 44 like this IWC that looks a bit big on me as well as my kid 😉
