Just landed my first De Bethune...the DB28. What a joy to marvel at the fascinating dial! Have to pick a special occasion to wear it

Here are the specifications:

- Hand polished hours and minute hands; silver-toned hour and minute ring

- Spherical moon phase indicator in palladium and blue steel

- Performance indication at the back between 2 and 3 o’clock

- Movement: caliber DB2115 hand-wound

- Power reserve: 6 days

- Case: Grade 5 titanium, diameter 42.6 mm

- Floating lugs

- Linear power reserve at back

The brand makes only a few hundred pieces each year so almost all models are unique. My first reaction to this piece was - nah - but I changed my mind after putting it on the wrist.

I thought you were into DB25 with baguette-cut blue sapphires? There hasn't been one DeBethune that I don't like so it's definitely a great choice. 

Yes, I still fancy that one - 40 mm fits my wrist better. Who knows, I may get that one as well
