Simply put: This piece is absolutely magnificent. Note how the dial has multiple guilloche patterns, with a different pattern for each chapter ring, including the power reserve indicator. Made by hand by the late great master, George Daniels.

Sorry, not quite
Made by hand by the very much alive, thankfully, Roger Smith. The Daniels watch looks very similar but has a chrono where the date is on this one and is also a coaxial tourbillon.

... Mr. Daniels. It was the very last timepiece he made. And while Roger may have had a hand in its construction, this piece is very much a Daniels!

Do you mean to say Daniels made this one himself with his own hands?
That's news to me. I thought they were all made by Roger. Regardless of who made it it's still a remarkable watch.
Felipe, George did not build this or any of the anniversary watches.
He was involved in all aspects of the development and construction of the watch. George and Roger did conceive of the watch. George passed on all of Roger's suggestions. George did examinee and approve the working movement and the prototype prior to his death. As a side note, Roger did make alterations in the coaxial (he explained the changes to me but I honestly did not understand or remember what he said about the changes in the movement but did say that it was an improvement and George agreed).
All in all the watch does have all the genetics of a Daniels.
It is a marvel to admire.

IIRC was to make the wheel one piece rather than the original two piece design.

... Independent watchmaking. The guy mastered 98 of the disciplines, including turning his own dials and making his own cases - which even to this day is mostly unheard of. Truly one of a kind.
