Paul is one of our favourite watchmakers on PuristS and for good reason. Anyone who has met him will attest to the fact that he is unpretentious, generous, kind and a very talented watchmaker. And he has done it all in the industry from innovative mechanical concepts through to design and construction.

Paul’s Atelier is in Zurich and I visited him last year before the Swiss winter set in. I will bring you a series of posts covering the wonders I saw over the coming weeks. But for now, happy birthday Paul, with a self portrait reflected in the weight of a Gerber clock.
