As he is now a full member of AHCI!
I have been an admirer of the brothers' work and look forward to their future creations
Bogs are very important to Irish culture.
However, I have not heard them invoked as part of congratulations before. 
Seriously, though, I love the work that the McGonigle Brothers produce. Truly inspired. I'm very glad for their AHCI recognition.

Had the pleasure of dining and chatting with John here in Geneva last night...and I congratulated him on his membership. He said that as he and Stephen are based in different countries, their candidatures are independent one of the other. We had a bit of a chuckle : If I'm not mistaken, Stephen, being the pragmatic character that he is, gave up with the 'politics' of the Académie (my words, not his) and the 'waiting game' so I'm not even sure if he's still on the list, so to speak.
John persevered, sitting up the back and paying his dues until all of a sudden his membership fees jumped a few hundred Euros, which was apparently how he first discovered he'd been accepted...!
Anyway, Well done fellas !

Saw John tonight...
...and thoroughly enjoyed it! Tuscars are starting to make their way into the market (slowly but surely) and we may have the chance to see some initial photos soon, I hope...
