Im bevillig increasingly fascinated with MBF and have veen spending a lot of time ón their fantastic website recently. Im curious about how many pieces they produce anually. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks.

Hello Christian !

Our total production numbers to date are:

2007: 30 pieces

2008: 125 pieces

2009: 143 pieces

2010: 152 pieces

This of course includes all different machines. With, amongst others, the opening hopefully of our first "Mechanical Art Gallery" in Beijing this year, we are increasing to 165 pieces for 2011.

Thank you!!! That was as clear as can be I think it's great if you can keep the numbers low. And even though I normally dont like limited editions, (like ROO) I think for your watches it makes sense that you make the many iterations. Somehow it becomes more a question of experimentation, like sculpture - testing plasticities in small series. you push the envelope, I truly admire the way you do it! Will you be at the Basel Fair?
