Based on movement complication and architecture alone the DB is the winner for me. I think the DB makes sense as a sports watch movement for GF, it's a more durable option than the inclined / double tourbillons and the design of the constant force remontoir is underappreciated.
That said I've warmed to the GMT over time. I think the GMT makes better use of the volume of the big convexe case, the classic GMT watches have always been big boys to fit the globe in there anyway, and subjectively I think makes a better overall design. Additionally, production for the GMT so far has substantially less than the DB which comes in large, small, carbon, sapphire, purple etc. so I don't think there's a wrong choice here.
