The blue and green dial versions sold out extremely quickly (much to my own chagrin).
It was too much fomo for my taste.
Had the chance to buy both versions, but I passed on both. The magic of the chiming mechanisms is the programming needed to get it to chime the time; this one ding per hour is more mundane to me. I felt like once the initial shock of "omg a chiming mechanism for 4k" wears off and everyone has one, it would just seem gimmicky and I would have regretted the purchase.
It is sure as heck more interesting than anything anyone else has made in this price range though! Very happy CW is doing stuff like this.

Yes i missed the blue one. Sold out in 8 hours. And the time difference between UK and my country is 8 hours. So most of the time i will be sleeping while the watch is launched.

Am loving these new releases that bring what decades ago was ultra-high to now be at good value. Blue was first, they released green yesterday, and yes both are sold out. Red is said to be next. I'm waiting for the purple or orange dial version (if they made it).

My thoughts
Cause it is a good tread to discus brands that get not much attention.
I think there are more forgotten watches which are treasures and nobody noticed.
First i think there are enormous much watch brands, so it is easy to overlook brands.
Second, than the famous brands hang more easy into the minds of people.
Third, we are all too sensitive for prestige and status.
Affordability can be seen as inferior, what is for sure difficult for new brands to get recognition.
I think Christopher Ward Bel Canto is a nice watch. But i have no interest in MB&F, so i do not look at such a watches. Even some Breguets with the same approach is not my kind of thing.
I like the whole dial side is used for hands with the numbers going 360 degree around the dial. The axle where the hands detached on, precise in the center of the dial.
For example a IWC Big Pilot.

An amazing timepiece and it is of course a shame that many independent brands remain firmly under the radar of the many.
Then again it is good for us enthusiasts and collectors is it not? 😆

Even the second (different color) batch sold out very quickly. I think they will release some more colors soon . Hope they will release a salmon dial and i will try to get one 🙏🏻🤗.

It is definitely one of the best "budget" complications brands out there and this just demonstrate this fact! I did hear on the watchfinder and co's channel that they could actually have included the inhouse movement and it would be the same price but it would increase the size. For me, i would be very okay to wear a thicker/bigger watch for an inhouse movement so hopefully the next generation or future models will have this! anyway, great watch and at a fantastic price
