Get together?!
I was wondering if any fellow watch nerds, especially independent watch nerds, live close to or in Seattle and would like to met up? These are not my pieces but these are my pictures.
Those are pretty stunning pieces -- it takes some unusual but excellent sense of taste to like them, especially the Breguet and the first Bovet! ;-) Enjoy.
PS: As a moderator's remark so this thread stays up, since this wouldn't be a WPS-endorsed GTG, I'm asking any members interested in your get-together to please reply to you *via PM*. Any subsequent arrangements should be made privately. Thank-you ;-)
Yep, we can stick to the term "involve," as per our Terms of conduct, which has a slightly broader meaning than "arrange," but that is essentially the sense of it.
We just need to be clear that GTGs not officially involving the WPS "staff" should be regarded as private events; in particular, since WPS obviously cannot take responsibility for such events, we don't want our members to have incorrect expectations in this sense. Of course, members are always free to communicate in private and decide to meet under their own responsibility, if they so wish.

Would gladly visit the store again! It was in Taipei and they also had a Romain gauthier logical one as well, so a pretty dope collection! It is one of, if not my fav, watch brand of all time!!!! Please keep me updated!! where are you from/based? Have you checked like used bovet watches cuz you can get some pretty nice deals!

The capital Amsterdam is the centre of most watch boutiques.
For example the Hublot boutique located there.
So, it is possible to search for an used Bovet.
There are, but not the types i want like chronographs.
Germany is a good field for many watches, so that is the place for good deals because of the many watches.
For example Corum and Arnold and Sons is easier to find the right watch.

Difficult to sometimes find the watch you want! I really like a girard perregaux espace but it is not easy to find! Is chronograph you favourite complication? I can imagine, there are a growing number of dutch watchmakers too and my faviorite car is from the Netherlands, Spyker!

So what bovet model are you looking for? I love spyker and gronefeld as well! there are also a couple other dutch watchmakers like this one on insta called Ketelaars and another one called Hulsman! Here are some pics!
