He certainly did. I remember thinking to myself in the 90s that his watches brought the style of breguet into modern times. That is to say, while the dial has unmistakeable old world charm, it didn’t look old.
Thanks H for posting your DR which drew out other DR beauties !

Have always been impressed by the innovative designs by DR. Your piece is elegant and classy ! 👍
Love the blue hands and guilloche inside and outside the circle. The “border” (for lack of a better word / description) along the edge of the dial adds a great touch !
Hi. I completely subscribe to the 'wear it whenever you like' school of thought. You're fortunate to have this early reference. It helped to round out M. Roth's early work.

I'm currently following down your path, and have these two. I think I know what the third is going to be too... Best regards.
Wear and enjoy them in good health always. Given the casual trend of sport watches these days, I find it refreshing to see and also enjoy a beautiful dress watch regardless, and with casual attire even more so. I’m looking forward to seeing your third choice, please be sure to post. All the best H.
The purity and poetry of this piece never ceases to bring a smile when worn. And to think this came out in the early nineties, timeless designs are just that, timeless. Regards H.
