The Grönefeld brothers showed new dials on their Remontoir. Their movement style with the stainless steel bridges remains one of the highlights of independent watchmaking. The guilloché dials come from Kari Voutileinen's dial factory Comblémine.
They have such beautiful dials. Is it possible for existing owners to order a new Kari dial? It would be wonderful if Gronefeld would entertain such requests. [nt]
Yes. One may replace the original Grönefeld dial with a Kari dial. I did just that. I originally had a silver dial with blues hands and replaced it

with a Kari darker blue fish scale guilloche dial with white gold hands. It is not inexpensive to do this, however. There are two Kari dial options; one is all guilloche and the other is guilloche with enamel which is a more expensive option.
The inner me asks a "what if?", if they made classical silver Breguet/RWSmith-esque guilloche dials on the rementoire. Dream... regards, skyeriding [nt]
I hope (like most PuristS 😉) to add one of there watches in the future 🙏🏻. #dutchpride 🤗 . Here is a pic from my last visit to there booth at SIHH . The One with a Salmon dail ( i just love Salmon dails)

... so far largely ignored by the commercial blogs.
I always admired the Grönefelds for finding this brilliant and unique design for the movement bridges and cocks, looking modern, but still so fitting to traditional watchmaking. As much as I admire the dials coming from Comblémine, the original design of Grönefeld matches, in my view, the movement aesthetics better. The salmon coloured dial in the last picture is to die for.
Created by two of the most fun and brilliant Watchmakers I know. I’m looking forward to see them in Basel in due course. Thanks Don for the great pics. Cheers
