I tend to appreciate the gorgeous dial of the LM 101 and neglected the movement

I think that's the spirit of the MB&F legacy machines

The horological machines look forward into the future
The legacy machines pay homage to the past and hence the movements and finishing are from the most traditional practices and design

That's why it's MB&F where F stands for Friends smile

Yes the movement is very much contributed by Kari smile
This LM 101 movement is also the first completely designed and built in house movement from MB&F according to an interview I watched of Max

And yes I am the lucky owner smile
