Hi! I believe currently there isn't a version that comes with a date window. Anyone prefer to have a version with date like I do? Cheers! Photo from VC's website:

The Chronometer Royal 1907 is an exception. For me what makes this watch spectacular, more than even the chronometer rated Caliber 2460 SCC, is the enamel dial.  I would hate to see it broken up (if it were even technically possible).

If VC were to ever make a non-enamel dial for the Chronometer Royal, then I might like to see the date window.

Hey Bill, I've seen enamel timepieces with date window so I believe it's technically possible for chronometre royal, unless the movement makes it close to impossible on having a date function included.  So far it does seem more people prefer a clean dial without a date.  But either an enamel or a regular dial, having another version of the same arabic numerals with date window would be great!  I hope VC will have one introduced next year and that would be my dream come true!  Cheers, Sunway.

VC has watches with the date function so I don't see how that could be the bottleneck to getting your dream watch into production. IF VC doesn't introduce what you are hoping for you could follow Mostel's path and have VC make precisely the watch you want. It might be expensive relative to a production watch, but getting the exact watch of your dreams is priceless, don't you think?

Hi Bill, I like the overall aesthetic of chronometre royal; the dial + the numerals + the hands + the size + the execution (+ date)=perfect for me!! But I guess like you said if the date version is not available next year then it's worth considering custom-made timepieces; kind of exciting! Shall see how it goes! Cheer, Sunway.
