Vacheron Constantin

I was looking up something in Antiquorum's database recently and noticed that  they have been putting back catalogs online. Of note tand interest to VC collectors is the inclusion of the 1994 VC thematic auction, 'The Art of Vacheron Constantin." There are some stunning watches in this catalog. Check it out!

The sale was superb. Many very appealing pieces, wrist or pocket.

I don't know the adjucation prices, but the quotations seem to be high for that time. I don't think they are much higher today.

I have the catalogue.

It's a reference, one of my most used..

Now I can at last get the prices, which I been mising!

Wonderful, or awful, probably the later I'll guess :-)

But have look what lay inside this auctionbook !!

Why do they never do that anymore?

I actually brought the invitation card, to the Quarter of Millenium auction 2005, and asked, why they was so greedy nowadays :-)

Anyhow I didn't get an answer ....
