Can anyone please tell me what is the name of Ulysse's Nardin Caliber UN-24?

Who makes it? Is it a modified ETA? Sorry if my question is stupid, i am new in this world?

... on an ETA 2892A2, to which the big date, the small second and the second time zone mechanism are added. These modules are manufactured and assembled by UN themselves. Also the base movement is assembled by UN.

When i bought it
...i had to choose between a Corum Admirala's Cup watch ( gold bezel and crown) and a Corum Tide's Watch. In your opinion did i make the right choice?

...Even if I try to be objective, I am nonetheless a die-hard fan of Ulysse Nardin, otherwise I would not moderate this forum. 
However, I like Corum, too. Corum has a distinguished history and a tradition of innovative designs. The Admiral's Cup (which particluar model were you looking at?) has a very unique design, the Tides (Marée) watch a unique module. I like the latter, even if it is a rather simplified model of the real thing. Its tidal display depends on the standard moon phase and a 24 hours display, coupled with a small 12 hours hand. The latter two can be adjusted to a specific location, following a tidal calendar, and then show an average tides model.
The UN GMT Big Date is entirely different, since it is a travel watch. In my opinion it is still the best and most practical GMT watch on the market, despite the nearly fifteen years since its first release. No other watch offers a second time zone indication via the main hour hand, that can be adjusted forward AND backward, and is combined with a big date display that is coupled with the local time - at least as far as I am aware of.
By the way, both, the Corum and the UN, use the same base movement.

Ulysse Nardin Executive Dual Time
Thank you very much for your answer Marcus. Sorry if i am anoying but yesterday i noticed that my watch doesn't always change the date correctly. The second digit composing the number of the date is not aligned with the first digit. Can it be because i am not wearing it exactly 8 hours a day or the mechanism has a fault. It doesn't happen all the time, around 3 or four times a mounth, and in 2 days it comes to normal. Also if i pull the crown out to the 4th position ( where i can adjust the time) the second digit from the date number jumps right back to normal. Any advices?
