Dear Casey, all these beautiful places are located around two hours by car from Lyon direction south west
Like you, I really love nature. We have the chance, here in France, to own a lot of beautiful places from north to south and from east to west.
When I have the chance to travel abroad, find lovely natural places is always a true gift. Which country I prefer? Definitely Scotland with the Highlands. A pure natural place and the "strongest" one I have ever seen.

I read somewhere...
That it's easier to take photos of people rather than landscapes because of the human nature aspects... almost everyone loves a kid with a dog or cat and the technical aspects fade into the background; not that backgrounds go unnoticed ; )
But with landscapes (as I read) you have to have a good technique, an understanding of light, exposure composition, etc., etc.
Not sure if I agree 100%, but an interesting thought...

Well, from my side, I have a very basic approach. I try to find a nice place... and I use my iPhone :-)))
Photography is an art and I am far to be an expert ;-)

It is forbidden to swim in that one because it would be the anarchy if not. It is better for this lovely place I think
