Roger Dubuis

Judging from the movement number of the automatic movement ('14'), this HO40 was made in 2005; after Roger Dubuis the person left his brand, and before Richemont's acquisition. Brown strap incoming. Feeling good with Roger Dubuis. I had traded away a square Roger Dubuis to acquire this round HO40. The HO40 wears comfortably. Good weekend everybody. Chk



HO40 needs a new strap.

First time I am seeing 1 and 11 being this big on a watch dial.

So I searched "11121", it yielded an express train, postal codes, ISO standard, as well as this:

Angel number 11121 is telling you to stay true to yourself, trust your instincts, take inspired action towards achieving your goals, and remember that spiritual guidance is always available when needed.

'Model movement case-color'. I just call it the '11121' for my own reference. Chk

Love the RD´s from that period, and especially the smaller ones 40mm and less. Enjoy!

The construction quality of the dial on my square one wasn't as good. The case and movement were fine, however.

And unusually for lacquer, very white.
The numerals have a glossy ink-filled look, the center of which rise above the dial a little.

Still legible, compared to the roman numerals-only dial. On this '11121' dial, the romans are shorter.

It's surprising to come across the dial design again, now in Hong Kong. Chk
