Yes, but is has been made like this originally. And at that time, it was something important. Nowadays we have other possibilities to instantly know the date ( see Cell Phones, for example ). [nt]
I like this new Zenith....i still donโt have an el primero powered watch. However, with the amazing new JLC Masters thatโs just were announced. Itโs really hard to decide! The complete calendar Chrono is stunning. So is the triple cal without the Chrono....I still donโt have a JLC....
How do JLC and Zenith fit, finish and reliability compare to Rolex?
I like it but not sure if that kind of a Ti case (microblasted) will look good over time, scratches and all..

I would've preferred a PVD coating from a wear and tear perspective (I'm reminded of how that Lagerfeld AP looks so good.. I believe HSTE has one). Or a regular unpolished ss case.
I do like the look of that Ti case. Just skeptical about how it's going to hold up.
Now I can't un-see it. And with the El Primero, of all things, not to be able to read the seconds precisely? What were they thinking? Maybe it's a pre-production dummy, and the actual release will have a seconds/minutes scale, as does the vintage piece Nico posted. If not, I can only consider this to be some kind of monumental blunder. ;-0
