It's been a long wait but I finally pulled the trigger. I'm amazed at the details!

I am absolutely not a colored gold guy, but I must admit that, in this case...
I would happily amke an exception. The combo black dial / YG case is just enhancing the vintage character of this chronograph.

The White Gold is elegant, very elegant, but not as strong as the black dialed YG.

as a series of metals/dials
the 5070 represents the absolute best of Patek in recent years....each of these watches has SUCH a different personality. I know I love the P above the others, but I genuinely cannot decide what I like next...maybe all of them equally? I dont know. I have owned the G but sold it....I am very tempted to make a LT plan on them....

Tough long term decisions for sure!
to the experts of this movement: I'm a bit new to manual winding. Do you wind your 5070 until it stops or do it until you feel a little tension?
