Thanks for your video. It's very comprehensive. You said it was your only Patek Calatrava or was it your only Patek watch ?
I only have one Patek piece which I like a lot too. But it's not a Calatrava.

The Calatrava sold in Singapore is so expensive now... Easily In excess of $45k SGD.

Your Calatrava must have been more affordable back then when you bought it ?

I bought it about 10 years ago. I also got it preowned so that saved my some $$$ as well.

Timepieces of this quality should not be exclusive to only the rich.

It's better to have one that you truely like than to have 10 Patek and not able to decide which one to wear.
Being blessed with finances to be able to afford a collection would of course be nice. But not many have this luxury.

Your Calatrava is lovely.

I wanted to buy one initially. But today's price in Singapore AD would probably be in the region of almost 50 K SGD. That will have outpriced most working class professionals.

Anyway, everything in Singapore is expensive. The price of our cars are a world class joke. I also bought my Patek pre-owned and it's dear to me.

prices of watches in general are getting higher and higher...going preowned is really the way to go. thanks for your insight.
