Patek 5107P Question
New to the forum, and wonder if I could get some information about a 5107P I just got? Does anyone know definitively what years this model was produced? My sense is that it was only available in the 2005-2006 range, but I would appreciate any additional information on that. Also, I was surprised when I received the watch that it was a cal 324 as opposed to 315, as I had expected it to be.

I've read that the 5107P appeared in the 2004-2005 catalog and the 2005-2006 catalog, but not thereafter. I don't know the publication dates of the catalogs.
On March 17, 2006, a reliable source posted that the 5107P had been officially discontinued.

It is a very, very striking watch. I was looking for a 5107 or 5127 in white gold, and stumbled onto this. I've never owned a platinum watch, and certainly never expected to own a platinum Patek, but it was just too tempting to pass up.
Really nice weight, very understated, and just a pleasure to look down at (at a rate of about 400 views per hour over this first day of ownership - I expect this will decrease over time). I would appreciate anyone chiming in on this particular model. It seems to have been VERY short lived, and as a consequence, I presume, somewhat unusual (rare?). Was it the high initial price point? Too similar to the white, yellow and rose models?

Mine's a 315
I was just checked the paperwork and determined that my 5107P has a 315 movement and was retailed by Wempe on April 13, 2006.
Also, my notes from when I was searching for a 5107P indicate that each of those I located for sale had a 315 movement.
I have a hunch yours is an unusual example.

I know that the watch was sold in 2012, and apparently was sitting in a dealer's safe for a number of years. Perhaps a transitional piece, or special order after the model was officially "retired"?

5107P are using Caliber 315 S C i remembered it from the year before 2004. Sorry i do not remember which exact year.9

as the first 5127s were even fitted with the 315. The 324 was not available when the 5107s were in production. I believe the first 324s started in late 2009 or early 2010 across the reference lines.
First Time
I wore the 5107P for the first time outside the house tonight to an office function. What a beautiful, subtle watch. The epitome of class with restraint. Beautiful in the hand, but really great presence on the wrist.
