Patek Philippe

Does anyone know why the Patek 5711 "ribbing" on the dials has gone from thin to wider and back to thinner?

I bought a 5711 RG in 2009 and the brown dial has thin ribs that are the same as the currect models- (this watch has the Geneve Seal);

however, when I purchased my 5711 1A in 2010  the blue dial has wider ribs- (this watch has the Patek Seal).

Just wondering what the reason was for the change?

Sorry to bring up an old post Mod but I've been noticing this anomaly as well. The one on the right is from 2009 and the left is newer with common 5711 dial. Both are blue-grey color but the 2009 version has more grey reflection. Would appreciate to hear your thought on this
