A Nato on a 5070...
I still have to find the good bars, and I think it will be a good option for this summer:

Is that such a crazy idea?
I don't think so.
After all, the 5070 has some strong links with the Past, an era where 2 Subdials Chronos were sometimes used by some Armies.
Look at these associations:
5070 versus Mathey Tissot:
5070 versus Longines 30 CH:
5070 versus Breitling Monopusher for the RCAF:
Are they SO different?
It was time to dress the 5070 down, a bit!
Best,
Nicolas

As for the modern, I have to do it again, with a Duometre, a Dato ( the first one, of course ) and a Vacheon.
Maybe the G.O Rattrapante, too?
Best,
Nicolas.

these last weeks, it wis worth saving yor croc.
I don't see a bracelet on this watch, but a Nato, or an old leather tan strap, why not, indeed.
Thanks!
Nicolas
Its obvious Vintage look.
Count on me to enjoy my watches!

a " wiser " Nato should indeed do the job.
Best, and thanks for your input.
Nicolas.
True, the 5070 has a heavy case. less dense than the Platinum Dato, though.
But the centre of gravity of the 5070 is less high than the Dato, so I think it could work well.
A combination to try, definitely.
Best, my friend.

And that a classic Nato, in grey or black would work better.
In Cordura, and we reach the excellence!
Thanks, Asg, for your input.
Best!
Nicolas
That is certainly because I live on the Rive Gauche that I have all these strange ideas...
These old Chronos are, in a certain way, the epitome of the elegant watch, for me.
Very well balanced, not too big, nor too thick, and quite often, a suyperb movement.
Some recipes which could inspire the moder^production, sometimes...
Best, Dr Freud.
