Patek Philippe

I just got a Patek 3940r and I think, this is one of the most beautiful watches ever made.

Some things are just perfect; whatever you change makes them less attractive.

As I did not find really nice pictures when I was considering buying this watch, I will now put two on the net.

Congratulations on your purchase.  The 3940 (in any metal) is the ne plus ultra of perpetuals IMO.  Enjoy, and wear in good health.

The 3940 does not need to be formal.

In any metal, I like the 3940 much more than the 5140. The 3940 are more classical.

I love the 3940 as well. I spent some good cash with HSWA to get my yellow gold 3940 switched over from the white dial to a "champagne" dial in yellow gold. I really love the watch and wear it every day. Always makes me smile. I think that is what the Stern family always intended for these beautiful time pieces.

Certainly one of my favorite pieces. Very classic and elegant. Goes well with long sleeve shirts because it just slip in effortlessly
