Picture of 5970 next to 3970?
Dear gents,
These two pieces are haunting me and life is tough - I need to make a decision and choose one....
Could you help me with input and pictures of the two next to each other.
So far, I have decided that I want it in Yellow og Rose gold. These classic watches I prefer in a warm material. I really like the almost vintage look of the 3970 but is a bit scared of the small diameter of the watch. 36mm will be the smallest in my collection. 5970 is a great looking contemporary watch with a more busy dial which I am not sure I like more over the 3970. But in relation to the size and feel it just looks awesome and feels great!
In my dreams I have both as I feel they comliment each other great and are my two grail Pateks (putting 2499 aside...).

tic-toc that is a superb collection of...........
Patek Perpetual Calendar/Chronograph's at their best.
For me, I would prefer the 5970, purely for it's additional size and the square pushers.
Well...... I don't have a pic of a 3970 and 5970 but I do..........

5970 was my choice
I had the 3970 and sold it after the 5970 came out. I was bothered by the hands (3rd series) and particularly the diameter/thickness ratio.
The 5970 I now have is just killer. Everything about that watch is right. For me it may be equaled but never surpassed. Truly a timeless piece.
