Just wanted to express my sadness whilst watching the pictures coming in from Japan. I hope you, your friends, and family are safe and well.

I gave money to support the the communities affected by the flooding and cyclone damage in Queensland.

I gave money to help the people affected by the earthquake in Christchurch.

And I will definitely be giving money to help the people of this latest disaster.

My thoughts are with you.

Seriously? If you're seriously asking you should have some rest IMO and wonder yourself if that's so important at this time. If you're joking well I'm not sure everybody can withstand such a joke at such a time. I can't in fact. Dje

On behalf of  the purists in Japan, I would like to thank you your comment.

I live in Tokyo. The electricity had been down for 5 hours last night. JR trains and subways  could not operate. Many people could not go home and stayed overnight in public space....

But it's getting better now here in Tokyo.

But you know, we had a significant damages by Tsunami in the northern coast area. No one know how big the damges are at this stage...

Please let me say that all my thoughts and prays, go out to all the people of Japan and their relatives that maybe living in other countries. 

My thoughts and prayers to all involved and let's all get behind the rest of the world in helping those affected in any way we can.....

I have participated this forum a few week ago.
I am a Japanese who is living in Tokyo.
Where I live did not get big damage but people who are living in northeast are experiencing devastating situation.
I am looking for a way to give them some help.
But I fell good that so many people who love wathes give messages.
Thank you very much as a person who lives in Japan.

 

Everyone here in Japan is still in a state of shock and deep sadness. Looks like things will get worse before they get better.

this is a very sad moment. i am monitoring the situation from seoul but have many personal acquaintances in japan where lived and studied. after the tsunami, the nuclear meltdown... i have nothing to say, i only can hope and pray.
