Patek Philippe

Im using this as an opportunity to post my second post and my last post.

First off Patek Philippe is hands down the best watch brand on the planet

 Anyone who tells you otherwise knows nothing  about watches or their history.

My grandfather owned a Patek and my father owned a Patek and I just purchased my first.

These watches transcend anyone who has ever had the money to buy anything they desire in this world.

They are a part of you . They are a part of History. This brand is for a few select people who know  true class

and beauty embodies. If anyone else feels the same way when I bought my Patek I felt the watch spoke to me and was something that was special that I might hand down to my kids in 30 years.

I hope this brand never gets away from that and I hope they never stop training and passing along this knowledge to future watch makers who will be making the pateks years down the line.

This is a very special brand. Some argue a Patek is one of the finest manufactured products on the planet.

In this digital age the watch is a dying breed and I hope I hope future generations can appreciate what masterpieces these are.

As for this forum. I think it is best I use it as a reference of those who have the knowledge like you guys do.

Whenever I get in front of my keyboard I can become a jerk and it usually gets me into trouble.

often, people with refinement buy Pateks....

 

but it is definitely the case that Pateks quite often end up with some idiots.

 

You can fool all of the people some of the time...

And some of the people all of the time.....

 

....its this latter group that i suggest you focus upon. You won't find many on this forum.

Welcome to the PP forum.  We are having a lot of fun and due enjoy are watch collecting

few others .... but that is just my opinon

I forgot this song, and haven't heard it in years...FP David!!!! Words may not come easy according to the lyrics, but I surprise myself with how easy the lyrics came to me, some file from the recesses of my mind.

We just have to appreciate all brands of watches.  Whether we like them all is another question.  I cannot understand how a true watch collector can only think one brand is the best.

No doubt, Patek is superb. But, to say they are the only and best ever is a matter of personal opinion. There's many other brands that rival this wonderful watchmaker, and offer their own strengths and beauty, Lange, Vacheron, Jaeger LeCoultre, Rolex, Zenith, Cartier etc. I can't say PP is the only brand for me, for I admire many others as well.
