I am reluctant to have my 5960 exposed to water. Don't know why..seems wrong. Has anyone given theirs the test. Is water resistant the same as water proof?
as far as I know water resistant watch can only be splashed with water not submerged in it i.e. washing hands or showering while water proof piece can be submerged to certain depth regarding marking 50m -swimming 100m - snorkeling 200m - scuba diving 1000m and more - you don't need to worry :0)
but most important is that no watch is either water proof or water resistant forever .... so regular check out and maintenance is crucial
back to 5960 what exactly do you have in mind regarding exposure of this complicated watch to water ... and above all why?
