Patek Philippe

I have been looking everywhere for a new Patek World Time to add to my collection. So far it has proven very hard to find one. Can anyone confirm if this Patek is one of those where Patek must approve you before hand? Thanks

i know they have just released one but i don't know how long the others are going to be.

I have heard only 10 where made in 2008 and only 3 are coming to the US. So far one was already delivered in Highland Park,IL and another in PA.

you have to be vetted in any way for this piece.

It just seems to me that the production numbers, for this watch are not very high.

6 allocated for the US in 2008, but only 3 delivered. IMO, of course.

i have seen one at my local dealer (ausralia), and i was told the just only started receiving it. They said it was reserved for their 'regular' customer, and thus i can't buy it.

However, i'm sure it'slike the 5098 gondola, or even the 5712, which would come to the mass market in no time, maybe not that many, but still 'buy-able'.
