Patek Philippe

Question - the 3939 and indeed all the minute-repeaters are only humidity proof as opposed to the others which are up to 30m waterproof.

Exactly how practical and user friendly does this make it?  eg, does one have to remove watch everytime wash hands just in case a splash of water gets near etc.? 

Also, is the 393 pretty robust for day to day wear or is it more of an 'evening' watch?

no need to worry; i wear mine on a regular basis in warm and humid conditions and no problem; obviously do not gon for a swim in the ocean but otherwise very reliable and a beautiful timepiece

in terms of size, in my opinion, just perfect fit  !! 

I'm seeing double.  Nice nice watches..  just picked up the 5050p today..  Really looking forward to delivery.

And in the last photo, is that 2 pieces of the same watch?! Or is it case variation ( WG & Pt)?

   Case metal same, model same, but something is different ... look hard and close.

   The combination of 5050+3939 is my version of a patek 5016.
