Patek Philippe

I have been looking for this watch for a while, and finally got my hands on it for my wife.  The fedex guy got here today.  My wife loves it!

 

As I was taking these pictures, my 16 month old daughter decided to take the "next generation" thing to another level by trying to take the watch for herself.

Can you please tell me what the strap is made of & does it come with a deployment buckle?

Can you tell me please what the pushers on the side of the watch are for?

Is it a Chronograph or a GMT?

The pushers on the left is to adjust the second hour hand +1 or -1 hour.

I'm not sure if a deployant is available, and my wife has actually assigned me to research that point.

it's a rare watch, made for only 1 year, designed by Mrs Thierry Stern.  If it was only a men's mechanical watch, with its rarity.....

so quickly?  Was it not selling?  To me, the design is wonderful, classy, and elegant.  I can't imagine why they only gave it a year.  I guess the good thing about it is that since it was discontinued, I don't think the list price went up on it like all the other watches did this year.  Just my personal opinion, but this was worth more to me than the gold twenty -4, but is priced at 25% less.  Lucky me, I suppose.
