Patek Philippe

Today I received a catalog from an upcoming auction. It has a 5004P with a very unique dial (7 baguette hr markers) It also appears not black but a "slate grey" color.  The font is also different.

I have only ever seen the round brilliant dial when it comes to diamonds on the 5004 dial.

Has anyone come across this before.

My Antiquorum catalog showed up today too.  Not speaking to the markings, but I think the color is just the way it was photographed.

This watch is very unique. I have the 5004P with the silver dial...Patek said that they have not seen the Pt. with the silver dial very often. That being said...then this watch would be a good one to acquire as it seem to be even more unique.

I saw this watch two days ago on auction preview in Taipei. It is rare and make in 2008. The dial color is not same as regular black. I like this version of black( or grey black). The diamond appears on the dial is the same as my friend's 5016P. He also receive it on 2008. my friend's 5016 is unique too, not like my 5016P with regular white dial and numbers. The antiquorum auction had a 5004P with two different black dials and sold much cheaper on OCt 16, 2008.

Looks to me that the regular round diamond 5004 you picture has a 3970 dial. The correct 5004 dial is in the 7 baguette version. The anthracite dial is regular 5004 as well (I have one with Arabics from 2005, it is not the same deep black as a 3970 black dial for example).
