After being singularly faithful to Patek since 2001. I developed a 7-year itch and started a crushing affair with this beauty: Panerai PAM 189
My plead: She has the same enticing Lemania heart that beats away in exactitude with the other teasured Patek loves of mine : 5020R and 5070. I was waiting for my 5004P but in the emptiness of the moment I cannot help having a fling with this hot-blooded beauty.
PAM189 has a manual-wound Lemania caliber same as CH27-70, the OPXVI caliber. White Gold casing, limited edition of 200 pieces. Doing +1 sec/day .

I f you want to end the thema of the Chrono housing a Lemania movement, , you'll have to go to VC, Omega, Breguet, and a few others, too..
Panerai used the same movement for the Pam 192, the Chrono Tantalium.
This one, the 189, is an elegant italian alternative! LOL
Seriously, it has a lot of charm, and if you have a PP 5070, it will be funny to put both of them side by side...
Congrats, Larry!
You're forgiven! LOL

I am trying to identify which Omega and Bruguet models have this movment on their web but to no avail. Do you think you can name the models for me?
Now I am lusting for a French coutesant--Breguet ref 5237BA, OMG.
LOL,
Larry
Panerai is one of the great watch brand with history as well. Wear it with pride my friend.
